Navisworks Fundamentals classroom
Description
The Navisworks Fundamentals classroom training course covers essential and core topics for working with Navisworks software. You will learn key tools in Autodesk Navisworks that enable you to create 4D construction simulations, interactive animations, and photorealistic images.
Topics covered include:
- Overview of main features and functionality in Navisworks
- Opening and appending 3D files of different formats and save in the Navisworks format
- Creating links to object properties files and scheduling files in external databases
- Performing visual project model reviews using built-in review and reporting tools
- Creating construction simulations of a project model to check validity of construction schedules
- Use animator and scripter to create interactive animations for presentations and demonstrations
- Obtaining 2D and 3D take-off data from source models to create material estimates, measure areas, and count components
- Performing interference detection tests between 3D files of different disciplines to check integrity of the design
- Adding true-to-life materials, lighting, and environments to project models, to create photorealistic output
Prerequisites
Those attending will require some prior experience and knowledge of 3D design and task scheduling software. Experience with the Windows operating system is also needed.
Courseware
A White Frog eBook is included in your course cost and is valid for 12 months once activated. The eBooks are registered to the email address you booked the Cadpro training course with, and will be sent to you after the course is completed. Due to licensing restrictions, the eBook is stored in Dropbox and cannot be downloaded or printed.
A printed manual can be supplied for $100 + GST and delivery. If you wish to have eBook access on an email address that is different to the address you registered with, there is a charge of $69 + GST.
Certification
Once a course evaluation is completed by attendees, an Autodesk certificate of completion is issued. You must complete the evaluation within thirty days of the course to receive the certification.
