Description
An introduction to the principles of BIM and information management. This Foundation-level course addresses the needs of individuals operating at a basic level, equipping users with the skills needed to navigate in the BIM world. There is a particular focus on openBIM principles and ISO 19650.
Ideal for building owners, designers, consultants, builders and project managers to gain a greater understanding of the opportunities collaboration within a virtual, openBIM environment.
Upon successful completion of the training, the participant can undertake the online exam to become buildingSMART qualified.

Courseware

Certification
Upon completion of the course, users can take the buildingSMART Professional Certification: Foundation online exam. If the exam is passed, the user will be fully certified.
Course timing
The course will be provided online over 5 days. The first day will be longer covering modules 1 and 2 with breaks in between for lunch etc, days 2-4 will then cover a module for about 3 hours. The final day will cover Module 6 and run through a recap of everything covered in the week.
If required we will offer a more intensive course over 3 days instead. Entry to the exam is included in cost.
