Description
Specifically designed for project managers and Revit collaborators, this classroom training course gives you an overview of Autodesk Revit’s architecture, structure, and MEP functionality. You will learn how to take advantage of Revit’s accelerated design process, employing data rich 3D models with high end visualisations. Create, evaluate, and better communicate 3D site plan proposals for faster approvals.
Topics covered include:
- The purpose of Building Information Management (BIM) and how it is applied in Revit
- Navigating the Revit workspace and interface
- Working with the basic modifying and modelling tools
- Troubleshooting elements in projects
- Various viewing tools including creating sections
- Working with sheets for plotting
- Exporting files to CAD Formats and DXF
- Working with schedules
- Linking and importing CAD files and Revit models into projects
- Using worksets in a collaborative environment
- Creating details (optional)
Prerequisites
An understanding of industry terminology is favourable, and experience with the Windows operating system is required.
Courseware
An Ascent course manual is included in the course cost and is valid for 12 months once activated.
Certification
Once a course evaluation is completed by attendees, an Autodesk certificate of completion is issued. You must complete the evaluation within thirty days of the course to receive the certification.
